Each year, 50,000+ people stop down to walk the Avenue and enjoy the 400+ classic cars, live music and great food from local restaurants. You'll find this year's feature vehicle, the Volkswagen, in front of City Center Plaza.
Live music from the Doo Wop Daddies (in Houdini Plaza ... corner of College Ave. & Appleton St.) starts at 6:00 p.m., and street corner performers including the 484th Army Band, Appleton Rock School, Jim 'n Nancy, Tarl Knight, Jacob Fannin and the Jukebox Barbershop Quartet roaming the Avenue.
This is a non-alcoholic event.
Interested in displaying your car during the show?
Everyone is welcome, however there are a couple requirements that must be met. If your car meets the requirements, a $5 fee will be collected prior to entrance onto the Avenue. We begin the processional onto the Avenue at 4 p.m. from north State St. and East College Avenue in front of Lawrence University. First come, first served.
