License to Cruise

Friday, September 26
6 - 9:30 p.m.

Each year, 50,000 people stop down to walk the Ave. and enjoy the 400+ classic cars, live music and great food from local restaurants. You'll find this year's feature car, the Mustang, in front of City Center Plaza. We'll have 50 Mustangs on display, one from each year!

Live music from the Doo Wop Daddies (in Houdini Plaza) starts at 6 p.m., and street corner performers include:

  • The Polar Project @ College Ave. & Superior St.
  • John Lambert @ College Ave. & Division St. (by the FCPAC)
  • Jacob Fannin @ College Ave. & Durkee St.
  • Appleton Rock School @ College Ave. & State St.
  • Tarl Knight @ College Ave. & Walnut St.
  • Jukebox Barbershop Quartet ... roaming College Ave.
  • Street Corner Harmony Barbershop Quartet ... roaming College Ave.

This is a non-alcoholic event.

Interested in displaying your car during the show?

Everyone is welcome, however there are a couple requirements that must be met. Click the link above for more details. If your car meets the requirements, a $5 fee will be collected prior to entrance onto the Avenue. We begin the processional onto the Avenue at 4 p.m. from north State St. and south Drew St. First come, first served.
