License to Cruise

Friday, September 28, 2018
6:00 - 9:30 p.m.

Each year, more than 75,000 people walk College Avenue and enjoy the 400+ classic cars, live music and great food from local restaurants. This year's feature vehicle is CHEVROLET, and they will be in front of City Center Plaza. You'll also find an amazing collection of CHEVROLET vehicles inside the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (PAC).  To see the collection, enter the PAC at Division Street.

Live music from the Doo Wop Daddies (in Houdini Plaza at the corner of College Ave. & Appleton St.) starts at 6:00 p.m. You'll also find street corner entertainers throughout College Avenue. For a full line-up of performers:  http://octoberfestonline.org/music.

This is a non-alcoholic event.

Check out the License to Cruise Facebook page for event updates and important information.

Interested in displaying your classic vehicle during the show?

Everyone is welcome, however there are a couple requirements that must be met. If your car meets the requirements, a $5 fee will be collected prior to entrance onto the Avenue. We begin the processional onto the Avenue at 4 p.m. from north State St. and East College Avenue in front of Lawrence University.  First come, first served.  All vehicles must have been manufactured in 1985 or before, and not have any visible primer or rust.  Those displaying their vehicles should have vehicle registration with them to confirm any questions.
