Octoberfest Announces 2019 Entertainment Lineup

The festival features new and returning bands as well as Family Fun Stage performances

APPLETON, Wis. Octoberfest, an event of the Fox Cities Chamber, is proud to release the entertainment lineup for its 38thannual festival on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019. The full-day schedule includes a diverse range of music genres, such as rock, oldies, Americana, 90s old-school hip-hop and indie, along with interactive performances at the Family Fun Stage.

“This year, we’ve added a new stage at the corner of College Avenue and Morrison Street to continue spreading music throughout the festival,” Eric Stadler, Octoberfest event committee and entertainment chairman, said. “While the main stages begin at 9 a.m., traditional polka music will kick off the day during our ceremonial toast.”

The entertainment lineup brings more than 20 bands to downtown Appleton, including three that are donating their timeslots to Octoberfest.

“We’re grateful to Appleton Rock School, Twisted Chords and Ill Genesi for donating their time and talent to the festival,” Stadler said. “It’s going to be another great year of celebrating our community and giving back.”
